In this episode, the Pritchett clan have decided to spend Christmas a bit early (and in a hurry) so they have to group themselves to quickly gather the holiday trappings so Mitchell, Alex and Lily finds a better tree, Gloria and Luke get the ornaments, and Claire and Haley buy gifts. Meanwhile, Phil and Manny acquire groceries and Jay and Cameron just waiting for the wrapping of presents.
