The Descendants is a comedy-drama film from the novel by Kaui Hart Hemmings. This movie was starred George Clooney, Judy Greer, Matthew Lillard and Shailene Woodley and is set to air in the United States on November 18, 2011. It is directed by Alexander Payne, with a screenplay by Payne, Nat Faxon and Jim Rash. The film screened at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival.
Storyline:
Matt King, entrusted by his family's ancestral land in Hawaii, attempts to be with his two daughters after his wife experiences a sober boating accident and flops into a coma. Being pressured from variety of factions to sell the land, he lately finds out a shocking secret about his wife.
