Miss World 2011, the 61st edition of the Miss World pageant is scheduled to take place at the Earls Court Two on November 6, 2011 in London. As part of the events, the contestants also traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland between October 23 and October 27. Alexandria Mills of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event. But even before the finals the event is marred with controversy rumors of erroneous judging. The finalists of the Top Model event were not announced despite the competition having already taken place. The Miss World org claimed it was having a tough time making a decision. But many questioned what further decision could lead to a 2 day delay in announcing the results for an event that already took place where all the contestants were already scored. A few national directors have protested that the scoring and judging is not transparent.
